Carrol’s work has a completely different feel to a product that has been manufactured by machine. Each unique item is finished by a craftsperson who puts a little of their character and soul in the piece. These items are collectable - they are not trendy fashion items that are disposable after a season - more a lifetime purchase. The designs are a marriage between the western aesthetic and diversity, and the rich culture of South Africa.
Carrol works with four metals, in combination with wood and leather and more recently resin. She creates the initial design from her Cape Town studio after which manufacture takes place at her factory in the Limpopo Province. Products are then transported back to Cape Town for hand polishing and a final quality control before being packed to despatch throughout the world.
Carrol has an intense love of the beauty of all mankind and her greatest inspiration for her designs is the human form. She also draws on modern culture and ancient civilisations for the wide range of abstract designs both simple and detailed, so there is something to suite all tastes.
Pewter Range
Lead free pewter, with its soft and malleable qualities, is easily crafted into unique and aesthetically pleasing creations.
Aluminium Range
This light strong and durable metal is perfect for large bowls, lamps, sculptural vases and furniture. It provides a beautiful alternative to stainless steel and pewter for larger items.
Stainless Steel Range

Chrome Range
This new chrome plated zinc range makes the product more affordable and strong but care should be taken not to polish these items.
Leather Range
The leather collection offers a sense of style and luxury. The genuine leather is guaranteed to be of the best quality and ecologically sensitive and processed in an enironmentally friendly tannery.
Resin Range
Carrol is proud to introduce a new and unusual series of fun and colourful utilitarian articles. The first item to be offered in this exciting range is an iced tea jug- man made of durable foodsafe ABS resin.
